End of School Again...

It is that time of year again, the end of school. With five kids in four different schools I am running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. The spawn have different schedules of half days and off days and field days and graduations and more. So today I am off to field day number one, the second one is Monday. I also will be dragging my second oldest along since he is off school today. As of one week from today they will all be done with school! Then starts the chaos of summer, weeee!

At least those are some ideas I want to do. This weekend will be hectic because the hubby is working, the two oldest are job hunting, and my baby girl will turn 9 on Monday! Arghh! Nothing like a bit of insanity to keep you sane right?

Argh! My head is going to explode! There are too many ideas! What do you do if you have too many ideas of what to make or do? How do you narrow it down?

Spawn Attack!

Ahh spring break.... A lovely time when all the spawn are home and I neglect my blog. My kids are keeping me on my toes and to add to the fun my husband has a MAN COLD!!!! Oh no, not that! Yes my dears, 'tis true my husband needs to be babied as well this week. So far I have dragged the kids out to the park for a walk that took way too long because we got lost in the woods, fun! I am still massaging my sore calf muscles from that one! I also have kicked them out of the house to play with neighbors the majority of the time. Today we are going down to the river to play on the rocks and hopefully not get lost again! I also have to stop by the post office because I am the lamest swap partner EVER! I still have not sent off my Wild Olive swap yet. I have no excuse other than I am eternally busy and I feel awful about it. What's so ridiculous is that I finished my embroidery for the swap ages ago but just haven't gotten to the frickin' post office. I suck.

Argh, this vida loca!!!

I apologize for my absence, things have been crazy around here! The spawn go back to school tomorrow and my hours at work have increased. I work at a store on the campus of a local university. This past week my husband, who works for our local utility department has been working mad overtime due to Hurricane Irene. We also have had to go to four different school and met dozens of teachers and paid tons of fees to our rugrats education. Also tomorrow is my 39th birthday!
So in the midst of the chaos I have actually done some crafting. I finished two hats and am almost done with a third. As soon as I get done with them I share some pictures. So for now I leave you with some cool Pinterest images:
