R.I.P.?

This morning I went to take pictures of my latest creations, raven hair clips! I used this tutorial http://craftsnob.com/2011/09/embroidery-thread-hair-clip/ and wrapped a clip with black embroidery floss. Then I cut small pieces of black felt and added some tiny little ravens I found at Michael's and made a sweet set of Halloween hair clips.


So I went to take pictures to share with you blog, and found my camera does not work anymore. I have a simple Kodak digital camera, with nothing fancy on it. But it has been a good and loyal camera for years. I tried different batteries to no avail. I am going to keep messing with it and see if I can fix it, but right now I'm so sad! So keep your fingers crossed that my camera has no died....

How about Misc?

Since my camera is still MIA, hopefully not for too long I thought I'd take a different approach to my life. I am miore than crafts if you can believe it! I might have mentioned it before but I have Major Depressive Disorder, MDD. Basically this means I have a disorder that includes depression and anxiety. It loads of fun, NOT! I control it with meds and therapy. I am pulling out of a downspiral again, hence the reason I re-started my blog. Writing and showing off my crafts makes me happy so there you go!


As you also know from my little intro over there-----> I have five amazing offspring. They include three boys and two girls and range in age from 8 to 16 years old. They constantly keep me either laughing or wanting to drink heavily, mostly laughing though! The one thing I knew I wanted to be when I grew up was a MOM, and I think I've done pretty well. My kids are smart, beautiful, funny, courteous, and a joy to have.

Lastly, I have to talk some sort of crafting! I have been working on several projects. I am crochet animals and monsters, painting weird doll heads, and trying fabric filled embroidery hoops from here: http://scenicglory.blogspot.com/2011/07/things-im-loving-this-monday.html

Oh NO!!!!!

After another fun filled weekend at my parent's house I came home today excited to upload my pictures and share all about the weekend. One major problem though, I seemed to have left my camera at my parent's house, ARGH!!!! I feel like such a dork!

I am kicking myself for forgetting that camera! I'm hoping my parent's will send it to me via the mail, but if not I will find other stuff to blog about, don't worry!
